A selection of violet (Viola) varieties with sprawling shoots presents an extraordinary, decorative combination of well-known multicoloured violet flowers and the cascading habit of the abundantly blooming surfinias. This marvellous plant that is offered in our store forms long, slender stems, densely covered with oval green leaves and numerous flower buds, that start to open end of May already. Charming, flat blooms with thin, broad petals in different shades of yellow, orange, purple, blue or clean white retain their ornamental value the whole summer long until October.

Seeds of the offered selection should be sown in early spring into boxes placed on a windowsill or any other well-lit and warm place, or to a hotbed. In May seedlings may be transplanted onto the field or to decorative container. Abundantly blooming multicoloured violets with hanging shoots look best in a hanging basket, a box on a balcony railing or a tall pot. You may also plant them on elevated borders. They need sunlight and a fertile, permeable, moderately moist soil.
