White Blazing Star, also known as Gayfeather, is a perennial variety, which grows 50 to 80 centimetres in height. This plant produces considerable shoots with spiky inflorescences, which consist of lovely white flowers that collectively grow in clusers. White Blazing Star is highly recommended for various containers, in particular for perennial beds or planters. Additionally, this variety is a superb cut flower that has a great ornamental value, which lasts for a long time even after a plant has been cut.
Growing: sow the seeds in pallet planters or planter boxes from April to June. The seeds germinate in 3 to 4 weeks at 18-22oC. Plant out into a permanent position in 20x30cm spacings from May to July. The plants prefer medium moist soils in sunny positions.
