Wrinkled Pea ‘Gloriosa’ is an early pea variety whose large dark green peas are wrinkled. The pea pods grow 8 to 9 centimetres in length, while the plant itself grows 60 to 70 centimetres in height. Wrinkled Pea ‘Gloriosa’ is particularly recommended for freezing, and can be harvested mechanically.

Growing: sow the seeds from late March to early April; sow them in rows in 20x30cm spacings, 2 to 6 centimetres deep into the soil. The peas are ready to be harvested from June to July.
