"Marcel F1" pickling field cucumber (Cucumis sativus) with small warts is a vigorous, dependable variety intended for field cultivation. It can be raised from direct sow. It is harvested a few times in the season, from July to September. Slender, regularly shaped fruit with dark green, shiny, thin skin, covered with small warts are ideal for pickling. They are tasty, low calorie and very rich in vitamin C after processing. They also contain valuable minerals, such as magnesium, calcium and phosphorus.
