Foliar fertiliser for conifers - Pinivit is recommended for use in spring, during the period of vigorous growth, when conifers need quick support for development and proper needle colouration. Spraying directly onto the needles enables efficient delivery of nutrients, resulting in noticeable new growth, better condition and greater plant resilience to stress. The product is suitable both in home gardens and in larger plantings. It is worth considering wherever quick action and a visible improvement in appearance matter.
Spraying with Pinivit helps conifers replenish deficiencies faster and develop young growth more intensively. Regular use in the initial growth period supports a more distinct, deep needle colour and improves overall plant health. Plants cope better with adverse environmental conditions and recover their condition faster after periods of stress. The liquid, fully soluble form allows the solution to be applied evenly over the needle surface.
NPK fertiliser solution 5.6-0.6-2.7 with iron, manganese, zinc: 5.6% (N) total nitrogen; 2.8% (N) ammonium nitrogen; 2.8% nitrate nitrogen; 0.6% (P) water-soluble phosphorus; 2.7% (K) water-soluble potassium; total iron (Fe) at least 100 mg/l; total manganese (Mn) 3000 mg/l; total zinc (Zn) at least 100 mg/l.
Pinivit is intended for foliar feeding of spruces, pines, larches, firs and Douglas firs. The best results are obtained by starting spraying 7-10 days after growth begins and continuing no later than the end of June, to allow young shoots to lignify before winter. Treatments are carried out from March to June, avoiding sunny days when temperatures exceed 20°C. In the case of needle yellowing, spraying may be carried out at a later date.
The concentration of the solution depends on the species and age of the plants. Solutions with a concentration of 2-5% are used most often. For young spruce, pine and larch plants, the optimal ratio is 1:30-1:35, for older plants 1:20-1:25, while for fir and Douglas fir a lower concentration of 1:40-1:50 is recommended. A 1-litre pack can be used to prepare approximately 20-50 litres of working spray solution.
The solution should be applied directly to the needles using a fine spray to ensure even coverage of the plants. Spraying is carried out with a standard sprayer. If combining with other products, it is advisable to carry out a preliminary phytotoxicity test. The product is non-toxic to people, animals and insects.
Used as a foliar treatment, Pinivit helps quickly improve the condition of conifers and achieve a visibly better plant appearance during a key growth period. It is a practical support for regular care, especially useful at the start of the season.
