The "Gottfried Michaelis" garden petunia (Petunia x hybrida grandiflora fimbriata) with its frizzled, cherry-red and purple flowers is a variety that will not remain unnoticed. This unique representative of the large-flowered petunia varieties produces XXL-sized blooms that delight with their frizzled petals. Its magnificent, cherry-red and purple flowers with darker perianths appear all summer long and early in autumn. As an undemanding plant that grows up to 30 cm tall, "Gottfried Michaelis" garden petunia is perfectly suited for pot cultivation on balconies and terraces. It will also thrive on a sunny flower bed or perennial border edging.
Seeds of the variety offered in our store should be sown early in spring or in spring. You may place the seedling culture on a heated hotbed or at home, on a bright windowsill. Petunia sedlings should be pricked out once before transplanting them to the permanent site. We recommend to combine the large, beautifully frizzled, dark purple blooms of the "Gottfried Michaelis" variety with the snow white "Koronkowy Welon" petunia. They will also harmonize with yellow marigolds, white daisybushes and garden vervain.
One package contains 0.05 g of cherry-red-purple "Gottfried Michaelis" garden petunia seeds. The sow-by date and the growing tips are printed at the back of the pack.My account
