Giant Silver Mullein, sometimes called Turkish Mullein, is a short-lived perennial plant which grows up to 200 centimetres in height and flowers throughout the summer, from June to August. Giant Silver Mullein, an excellent variety especially for small groupings, looks beautiful when cultivated on slopes, in step gardens and vantage points.

Growing: sow the seeds under cover or in a seedbed from April to May. Plant out into a permanent position from August to September. The plants require well-drained dry poor soils. Also, they need warm and sunny positions and even tolerate extensively warm and dry ones. Cut the shoots that have stopped flowering to prolong its life.
