Hyssop ‘Tricolor Trio’ is a rampant perennial plant. This variety grows 30 to 40 centimetres in height, with straight raised shoots and little white, pink or blue flowers that cover the shoots throughout the summer. It starts flowering after the first year of cultivation, which makes it a perfect ornamental, medicinal and flavouring plant for flower beds, planters and pots. The fresh, as well as dried leaves are a tasty seasoning, while the infusions of Hyssop ‘Tricolor Trio’ help indigestion and can be used an expectorant and as an antisudorific agent.

Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes or in covered pallet planters in April. Plant out into a permanent position in 30x30cm spacings in the second half of May. The plants require fertile permeable soils and sunny or semi-shaded positions.
