Indicator strips (litmus papers) for wine are the basic tool for measuring wine pH.

Measuring with the litmus papers has several advantages. One of them is quick and cheap measurement of the pH of a given solution. Additionally you do not need any special, expensive equipment and the scale clearly shows the result of the probing. These indicator strips may be comfortably used at home.

Indicator strips available in our online store are infused with preparation of clean cellulose. Colour change depends on the acidity of wine.

Prevent the strip from complete drying before reading the result.

The unused indicator strips should be stored in the original packaging in a place where they would not be exposed to basic nor acidic vapours or gases. Store them in a cool, dry place.

Instructions of use:

1. Dip the unpacked indicator strip in the inspected liquid for 1 to 2 seconds.

2. Remove the excess liquid by shaking it off the strip.

3. Read the colour that occurs 40 seconds after taking the indicator strip out of the liquid.

4. Compare the colour with the scale printed on the back side of the indicator strip package.
