Lady Bells is a perennial plant featuring dark blue flowers that collectively make lovely spikes. Its flowering period is fairly long; it spans from June up to September. Growing well in any type of garden soil, Lady Bells is an excellent variety for a cut flower and looks outstanding when grown in perennial beds.
Growing: sow the seeds in a seedbed from April to May. Plant out into a permanent position from August to September; grow the plants in 25x30cm spacings in moist rich permeable soil. This variety grows to 45 centimetres in height and prefers sunny positions. Each gram contains around 2000 seeds.
