The Mexican marigold "Hawaii" (Tagetes erecta) delights with its huge inflorescences that may reach 15 cm in diameter. Extremely tall stems that grow between 60 and 80 cm tall end with round, double, bright orange inflorescences. The "Hawaii" Aztec marigold, as this plant is commonly called, will reign on every border. It will look great planted alongside fences or buildings' walls. You may also use it as cut flower, as it remains fresh and great-looking in vases for even two weeks. This beautiful and undemanding garden plant blooms abundantly all summer long and at the beginning of autumn.

This easily cultivated and trouble-free species may be cultivated from seeds. Sow Mexican marigold seeds in early spring under covers and the seedlings would be ready for transplantation in 6 - 8 weeks. Wait with the transfer until the so-called "Ice Saints" have passed. You may also sow marigold seeds directly onto the field. Plant Mexican marigold on sunny borders, as it blooms abundantly in full sun. Every kind of garden soil, provided it is permeable and medium rich in nutrients, will suit it.

Each package contains 1 g of "Hawaii" Mexican marigold seeds. The package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
