Mitsuba, also known as Japanese Parsley, is a herb which is very popular in Asia, particularly in Japan. This variety has in recent years continually gained popularity across the world mainly thanks to its aromatic leaves and stems that are highly suitable for cooking. Mitsuba has an aroma similar to lemon and pepper, and also has a similar flavour to these plants, which makes it a great addition to various dishes, including soups and salads. This excellent seasoning plant can be grown in the garden as well as in pots or planters.
Growing: sow the seeds in a sunny position, which is covered from the wind, from March to May. This variety grows best in moist soils. The plants are ready to be harvested from May to October.
