Patty Pan Squash ‘Okra’ is a plant that grows in the form of a shrub. This variety is characterised by its high fertility; it produces slight fruit that grow around 3 centimetres in diameter. The fruit are perfect for souring and pickling. The Patty Pan Squash ‘Okra’ fruit are in a shade of green and sport a shiny rind.
Growing: sow the seeds directly into the soil from April to May; plant in May. Grow the plants in 80-100cm x 80cm spacings. The fruit are ready to be harvested from July to October.
