Pink Knotweed, also known as Japanese Knotweed, is a perennial plant that grows 20 to 40 centimetres in height. This variety features medium sized green leaves and very ornamental pink flowers that tend to develop in clusters. With a flowering period, which spans from July to September, Pink Knotweed is highly recommended to be grown in rockeries, low perennial beds, especially as a bordering plant, and is an excellent addition to hanging baskets.
Growing: sow the seeds in a seedbed in the spring. Plant out into a permanent position in 30x40cm spacings from August to September. The plants require moist permeable soils in sunny or semi-shaded positions.
