Sweet pepper 'Ozarowska' (Capsicum annuum) is a very productive variety that bears fruit in lower temperatures and in lesser exposure to light. It also shows great resistance. This cultivar is particularly recommended for growing in plastic foil tunnels, but it would also thrive in the open field in favourable weather conditions. These plants that display great vigour and a compact habit need pruning and supports (poles). They produce exceptionally large fruit that weigh ca. 120 g. Both the skin and the flesh take on dark red colour. Juicy, delicious fruit taste best raw on sandwiches and in salads. You may also cook, steam, roast, stuff and pickle them.

This vegetable is grown from seedlings prepared under covers. For that purpose you need to sow 'Ozarowska' pepper seeds at the beginning of spring. Transplant the seedlings to the permanent site after the last frosts are gone, usually after May 15th. Harvest the fruit after they have taken a nice, red colour what in case of this variety happens in the middle of summer. These plants need plenty of sunlight and warmth in order to grow well and yield rich crops. A wind-sheltered site with a humous soil would suit this pepper well. You should also take care of the proper watering and fertilizing.

Each package contains 10 g of sweet red 'Ozarowska' pepper seeds. Growing instructions and the sow-by date are included in the package information.
