Red sweet pepper 'Wika', intended for cultivation in tunnels and in the field, is an intriguing variety producing appetizing, conical fruit. They grow 15-18 cm long, 4-6 cm wide and weigh 110-130 g. This variety shoes high growth strength, vigour and productivity. We recommend to use its fruit for direct consumption or preserves. They are fleshy, sweet (yet low-calorie) and rich in valuable vitamins, particularly vitamin C and beta-carotene.

Pepper is a rich source of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. Regular consumption of this vegetable positively affects the skin, hair and nails and protects you from losing sight. Strengthening blood vessels, correction of the blood tension, enhancing of the body resistance and better digestion belong to other advantages of this particular variety.

Sow 'Wika' pepper seeds in spring under covers or at home to pots or seeding trays. Seedlings need quite high temperatures (20-25°C) and moist, light soil to germinate. Young plants need to be pricked once before transplanting them to the permanent site. Choose a sunny site with fertile soil rich in organic matter for cultivation of this productive variety.
