The vividly green celery (Apium graveolens) "Plein Blanc Pascal" that is ideal for soups, reigns among its kin thanks its bright coloured leaves and extremely high vitamin and minerals content. Stalks of the proposed variety are thick, fleshy, stiff and consist large quantities of essential oils. "Grone Pascal" leaves grow up to 20 cm tall and can be harvested for a long time. Since they are rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, as well as iron, calcium, magnesium and other valuable minerals, it is advised to eat them raw or as an addition to soups and other cooked dishes.

Celery grows from seedlings that can easily be produced in the springs on hotbeds, in greenhouses or even at home in pots covered with glass or plastic. Seedlings are transferred to the field in the second half of May. "Grone Pascal" celery variety dependably yields rich crops on sunny sites with fertile, moist and humous soil. The stalks can be bleached. They are ready to be harvested the whole summer and autumn long from August onwards.
