The daffodils belong to the most beautiful bulb flowers - one of their common names comes from the name of an ancient Greek young fellow who fell in love with his reflection in the mirror. We particularly recommend the Paperwhites Ziva variety that develops beautiful, snow white flowers that are often gathered in loose clusters. If it grew over the water surface it would definitely fell in love with itself...

Its bulbs should be planted in autumn. Put them 10 to 15 deep into the soil and the same distance apart. You can grow the Pepperziva White (an alternative name of this variety) daffodils at home, too. It owes its nickname "Christmas Daffodil" to this property, because it often blooms at home in the winter. Plant the bulbs in containers at the depth that equals half their height (similarly to the Hippeastrum bulbs). An interesting cultivation option is growing this daffodil on the rocks, in a glass container filled with water - additional visual effects guaranteed!
