Corn Salad, also known as Mache, is an annual plant, which has recently gained popularity in central European countries. Its oval-shaped leaves are used in the same way as lettuce; they can be eaten raw. Corn Salad has a delicious sweet flavour, and, in addition to that, this variety is a rich source of vitamins and mineral salts.

Growing: sow the seeds in July to August in order to harvest the vegetables in the autumn; for the purpose of storing the plants throughout the winter, the seeds need to be sown in early September. Sow the seeds in rows in 20cm spacings. The plants winter well under a layer of snow, branches or fabric.

Each packet contains two grams of seeds.
