Cucumber "Reja F1" (Cucumis sativus) is a bestselling, medium early field variety. It stands out through high productivity, as it develops almost only female blooms, as well as strong growth and vigour. It is valued for its high resistance to diseases, particularly to downy mildew, that commonly attacks cucumber cultures. Fruit developed by the plants of this variety display ideal proportions of length to diameter and a regular, cylindrical shape. They do not overgrow, nor deform. Their peel is shiny, dark green and slightly lighter at the ends of the fruit. These cucumbers, covered with thick warts, are ideal for marinating and pickling.

Cucumbers need a soil rich in humus and nutrients to grow properly and yield rich harvest. It is also important that the soil is moist and well cultivated. This vegetable should grow on sunny and warm sites. Seeds of the "Reja F1" cucumbers available in our online store should be sown mid-May in 135 x 10 cm spacings. The fruit ripen after 60 - 65 days after the sow and they can be harvested starting from end of July until August.

Each package contains 5 g of "Reja F1" cucumber seeds. A growing guide and the sow-by date have been included in the package information.
