Unusually - even more then 30 cm - long cucumber "Telegraph Improved" (Cucumis sativus) is true rarity on the market. This resistant variety intended for salads produces rich crops both in plastic tunnels and in the open field. Its fruit stand out with their size and excellent, refreshing taste. A single cucumber of this cultivar can grow over 40 cm long, has a slender shape and thick, dark green skin covered with only a few tiny warts. Fruit borne by the plants of this variety are well known for their exceptional taste hidden in the firm, crunchy and juicy fruit flesh. They are ideal for salads and sandwiches or for healthy snacks seasoned with salt.

Direct sow to the ground should be conducted late in the spring and slightly earlier under covers. We should even, loosen and water the soil before. The ground should be rich in humous, yet not acidic nor too heavy. One square meter will accomodate three to five plants. Cucumbers can be harvested from mid-July until the end of September. Long, appetizing salad cucumbers of the "Telegraph Improved" variety are low-calorie, rich in minerals and contain vitamins, as well as effectively deacidify the body.

Each package contains 3 g "Telegraph improved" cucumber seeds for growing extremely long fruit. Growing instructions and the sow-by date have been included in the product information.
