French bean "Nomad" (Phaseolus vulgaris) is a late, disease resistant variety valued for extreme durability. If you provide pods with enough humidity, they will last for even a week and will not rot in transport. This dwarf variety belongs to late cultivars and displays resistance to halo blight and anthracnosis. The pods reach crop maturity and can be harvested 80 - 100 days after the sow. Their size does not impress, as they grow 12 - 13 cm long, the more delights their appetizing dark green colour and fleshy texture. "Nomad" beans is consumed directly and used in preserves.

You should sow "Nomad" French bean seeds from May to mid-July. We recommend to set the rows 40 - 50 cm apart and leave 10 cm spacings between the plants. You may harvest delicious green pods from August to September. Grow beans on a sunny, wind-sheltered site. It prefers well-structured, fertile soils rich in nutrients and water. It is also important that they quickly warm in spring.
