Grass selection - Embankment Mix I is a professional grass selection created for covering sloping areas that are at risk of soil erosion. The fast-growing grasses of the presented mix form a very extensive root system what makes it perfect for escarpments, slopes, industrial areas, and landfills, roadside embankments, and heaps. Embankment Mix I is recommended for dry and weak soils on sloping ground. It is characterized by very strong anti-erosion properties. It effectively protects slopes from damaging effects of water and wind. Each of the species of the mix fills a different role. Reed fescue, due to its deep root system, provides good reinforcement of slopes. Creeping red fescue and sheep fescue do well on poor soils. Blue grass is responsible for a compact structure, and ryegrass is characterized by very fast growth, while protecting other species. The addition of white clover is a great complement to grasses. It dynamically covers the gaps and enriches the substrate with nitrogen compounds. The composition is distinguished by high resistance to weather conditions, winter hardiness, and high tolerance to salinity. Fast germination and high vitality perfectly stabilize the soil. The wide adaptability range of species makes this selection perfect for areas with untested habitat conditions.

Embankment Mix I contents: tall fescue Fawn/ Escalante 28%, Red sheep fescue Ridu/ Nordic 10%, Red creeping fescue Reda/ Areta 10%, red creeping fescue Adio 5%, Westerwold ryegrass Mowstera/ Estanzuela 10%, perennial ryegrass Nui/Temprano/Belida 10%, perennial ryegrass Solen/Maja 15%, blue grass Gaisha/Sunbeam 10%, white clover Haifa/Grassland Huia 2%.
