Japanese Hop is an annual ornamental vine which grows up to 4 metres in height. It features sinuous stems and large palmate leaves. Japanese Hop, due to its high decorative potential, is a wonderful variety for covering walls as well as for cascading over garden trellis or pergolas.

Growing: sow the seeds in pots in March. The seeds germinate in around 3 weeks at 20oC. Plant out into a permanent position in the second half of May. The plants grow well in any type of soil and the cultivation is usually relatively straightforward.
