Large-flowered garden pansy (Viola x. wittrockiana) - white with pink spot develops large, flat flowers with a distinctive, contrasting colours: on snow white petals you can clearly see broad burgundy-pinkish spots. This elegant, attention drawing variety is recommended for cultivation in cases, pots, bowls and on flower beds. It blooms continuously in the second year of growing, from early spring until autumn. Since it belongs to low growing plants and reaches only 20 cm in height, it can be easily incorporated into every garden arrangement.

The seeds of the dainty pansies can be sown the whole summer long on seed beds or in pots under glass. Well developed seedlings with full rosettas of juicy green leaves are ready to be transferred to the target site early autumn or in spring next year. Charming large-flowered garden pansy will be a great addition to a composition of other Viola x. wittrockiana varieties, as well as the dwarf asters, garden daisies "Pomponette" or the wonderful large-flowered petunias. It blooms equally exuberant in the sun and at partially shady sites, as long as it grows on fertile soil.
