Melliferous Plants - a selection of perennial plants for drier sites - 0,5 kg - is a composition that allows you to cover sunny spots and sandy, not too fertile, dry soil. Since the selection consists of different plants that produce nectar and pollen that attract bees, growing these plants is a great method to attract pollinating insects to the vicinity of your orchard, berry borders and vegetable beds. You may, and should, cover trenches, roadsides, dry and sunny embankments and field edgings with them.
This proposed selection includes 80% of perennial and 20% of annual and biennial plants that produce plenty of pollen and nectar.
Seeds need to be mixed with sand in 1:3 proportions and sown by hand onto aerated, moist, evened soil and than raked. Depending on your needs you may sow in spring, summer or autumn.
