Microgreens - Green lettuce (Lactuca sativa) - young leaves with unique taste will open a way to completely new gardening challenges and culinary experiences to you! We present lettuce seeds intended for growing young leaves. This is an easy, effortless task that does not take much time. Tiny, juicy, soft salad leaves can be harvested at your home even three weeks after the sow. The main advantages of the early harvest of the undeveloped vegetables lay not only in their tender taste and attractive appearance. Microgreens contain much more vitamins and minerals than mature plants and all those substances are additionally better assimilable by human body. Young lettuce supplies us with provitamin A, vitamin C, B vitamins, magnesium, calcium and kalium.

You may use standard soil or prepare it yourself, combining universal garden soil with deacidified peat and sand. Cover the seeds with a very thin layer of soil and sprinkle with water with a sprayer. Water the culture that way a few times daily. You will harvest rich crops of excellent young green lettuce leaves after approximately one month after the sow.
