Fresh, crunchy sprouts enrich each dish, not only Asian, with their flavour. They are rich in fibre, protein, minerals (magnesium, iron, phosphorus, kalium, zinc, iodine, copper, manganese and selenium) and vitamins (A, B complex, C, E and K). Young stems taste great in salads and sandwiches, with scrambled eggs, in a casserole or soup. You may also serve them warm, stir-fried. Sprouts may be cultivated on the kitchen windowsill all year long. The container prepared for their preparation ought to be clean, preferably washed with hot water.
