This is a mix of sprouts that are an excellent addition to Chinese cuisine. With a characteristic flavour, this mix is ideal for hot and cold recipes. The sprouts of the mung bean, soy and lentils are an invaluable source of easily assimilated proteins, vitamins A, B, C, E and K, and mineral salts. The sprouts help in reducing cholesterol levels as well as blood pressure; they protect from heart diseases, calm nerves, and increase energy and appetite. They are also useful in treating diabetes, cholelithiasis and atherosclerosis. During their sprouting period, the nutrients accumulated in the seeds transform into compounds that are easily absorbed by the body, under the influence of humidity, temperature and enzymes. Each packet contains a recipe for chinese goulash with sprouts.

This mix contains: 40% mung bean, 30% soy, 30% lentils
Home production of the sprouts: carefully rinse the seeds under running water and pour them in a jar in such an amout as to cover the bottom of the jar, then fill it with boiled, cold water. After several hours, remove the water and place the jar with the soaked seeds in a warm place; do not expose it to sun. Rinse the seeds at least twice a day and remove water residue to prevent mildew. The seeds germinate in 3 to 4 days and having germinated, they are ready to eat.
