Sugar corn may be eaten raw or cooked. The exceptionally sweet "Rustler F1" corn may be added to salads and many other dishes. You may also preserve and freeze it.
Sugar corn may be sown from direct sow to the field or from seedlings. Sow sugar corn seeds in the first half of May to the field or in April under covers. You may successfully grow it in almost every kind of soil, apart from the extremely moist or dry ones.
