Treasure flower "Big Kiss F2 White Flame" (Gazania splendens) is a variety unmatched in terms of the size and unique bloom colouring. The plant presented here forms low, compact, erect tufts that grow 20 cm tall and wide. Flower heads consisting of large, sunny-yellow centres surrounded by elongated, tear-shaped petals open in June on the tops of straight stems. "Big Kiss F2 White Flame" gazania blooms take on colouring unusual for this species: white-pink with contrasting, dark petal bases, that give the flower an impression of depth. The inflorescences are almost twice as large as blooms of other popular treasure flower varieties and retain their great, fresh looks until October.

Seeds of this undemanding annual plant are sown in early spring and spring to production pots, hotbeds and seeding trays into permeable, moist soil. Seedlings can be transplanted to the field or larger, decorative containers after the last spring frosts. Treasure flower loves sunlight and requires light, moderately fertile and not waterlogging soil. It shows great resistance to periodical water shortages and heat. It is recommended for cultivation in rock gardens, on border edgings, balconies, terraces and external windowsills in combination with other varieties of this species, as well as plants with differently shaped inflorescences, such as plumed cockscomb, tropical sage and flossflower.
