The Beijing Moon tree lily (Lilium OT) is a majestic frost resistant bulb perennial that develops huge flowers and grows 150 to 200 cm tall. Its thick, stiff stems, covered with verticils of narrow dark green leaves, support from end of June until August the satin flower cups, each consisting of six broad, bend petals. The flowers of that magnificent variety take on a light pink colour with darker edges around them and yellow streaks running through the middle. The Beijing Moon tree lily provides the excellent material for single planting in the middle of a lawn. It will also adorn flower bed backgrounds when planted in larger groupings.
The large bulbs of the presented plant should be planted in spring or autumn into the humous, permeable soil that should also be fertile, moist, yet moderately compact - neither too heavy, nor too light and sandy. The tall lilies and their large, heavy blooms thrive on wind-sheltered sites where they do not risk breaking. These marvellous perennials need plenty of sunlight, too.
Each package contains 10 bulbs of the Beijing Moon tree lily, sized 18-20 cm. The essential plant growing information is printed on each package.
