Carnation, garden pink "Viennese" (Dianthus caryophyllus), here offered in a variety mix, presents a very ornamental solution for a border or rock garden. The double-flowered pinks that bloom in the second year of cultivation in bright shades of red and delicate tones of pink, yellow and white would look great in bouquets, too. This plant develops meshy tufts of erect, slender stems that are covered with tiny dark green, spiky leaves. The variety offered here grows 50 - 80 cm tall depending on the environmental conditions.
