Common pink (Dianthus plumarius) in a colourful variety mix will add lightness and charm to every summer flower arrangement. No other perennial blooming at this time of a year can match the delicacy of garden pink's inflorescences that consist of corrugated petals. You will find varieties with white, red and pink blooms in different shades, as well as bicolour plants in our selection.

The plants grow approximately 30 cm tall. Their slender stems, covered with narrow, bluish green leaves, that underscore the tender look of the flowers, crawl close to the ground. Common pink grows best from seedlings that you can produce from April until June. It is transplanted to borders in the second half of summer, in August. Starting with the second year of cultivation, this plant blooms persistently from June to August and dazzles with its fragrance that attracts butterflies. This species likes permeable soils and feels equally comfortable in the sun and partial shade. You may plant it on dry embankements, where it will bloom year after year.

Each package contains 0.3 g of common pink variety mix seeds. Package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
