Caucasian Elecampane is a perennial plant, which grows 50 to 70 centimetres in height and produces lovely raised shoots. The buds on the shoots burst open, revealing the magnificent yellow flowers that appear from June to August. Caucasian Elecampane is suitable for flower beds, and, thanks to its high decorative potential, it is suggested to be used as a cut flower.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover from April to June. The seeds germinate in 3 to 4 weeks at 20-25°C. Plant out into a permanent position in 30-40cm spacings in August. This unique variety grows best in fairly moist soils in sunny or semi-shaded positions.
