It is a very productive vegetable that reliably brings even crops. It develops spherical roots, that are covered with white skin concealing the attractive red flesh. The flesh is juicy and delicate, with a mild taste and a slight nutty note. The intriguing colour and unique taste are by far not all of the advantages of Chinese radish. Here, its high nutritional value should be mentioned. You can use it as an addition to salads or sandwiches and to garnish dishes.

Chinese radish can be grown in late spring, summer and autumn. Chinese radish seeds germinate at 8°C. This species yields best crops on fertile, thoroughly and deeply cultivated soils. The size and quality of the roots also depends on the humidity of the soil that should be regularly watered.
