Dwarf yellow French bean "Batuta" (Phaseolus vulgaris) belongs to varieties that mature rather early, as its pods may be harvested already 72 days after the sow. Its biggest advantage in comparison to other bean varieties is its high resistance to diseases, particularly the halo blight and anthracnosis. The pods this variety develops are medium long, 10 to 13 cm, round in cross section with a diameter of circa 1 cm. Yellow pods are stringless what increases its popularity among consumers. The fruit develop in the upper parts of the plant what enables harvest automation. "Batuta" develops small shrubs and does not require supports. It is recommended for direct consumption and preserves.
