Early Cabbage is a very early variety of white cabbage. This plant should be cultivated early, under cover or directly in the field. It produces dense greenish heads, and can be eaten raw or boiled.
Early Cabbage is an excellent source of vitamins; similarly to other cabbage varieties, it has many qualities that are beneficial to health.

Growing: sow the seeds from late January to mid-February. Make sure to fertilise the chosen position with manure in the autumn before the intended sowing date. The plants grow best at 15-20°C; once rooted, they endure temperatures as low as minus 5°C. Do not expose the plants to such low temperatures for more than several days, as this variety does not tolerate long periods of excessively low temperatures. Early Cabbage prefers light soils.
