Radish ‘Jutrzenka’, with its one-of-a-kind oval-shaped pink roots, is certainly one of the more unique radish varieties. Its flesh, on the other hand, is fairly typical of this family of plants; it is white and smooth and remains fresh for a relatively long time. Radish ‘Jutrzenka’ can be grown in the open air as well as under cover.
Growing: start sowing the seeds in early spring, as soon as the soil has dried, and repeat the process every two weeks by the end of May. In order to harvest the plants in the autumn, you will need to sow the seeds in August. The plants should be grown in rows in 10-20cm spacings; they do not tolerate fresh manure. This variety can be cultivated as a forerunner, catch crop or an aftercrop.
