Radish "Carmesa" (Raphanus sativus) - SEED TAPE - is an early variety that allows for first harvest in circa 25 days after the sow. This variety is intended for field or tunnel cultivation, but may also be planted in containers. Large, round roots with a diameter between 3 and 5 cm do not break. Matt white flesh does not get pithy and is covered with thin, shiny, red peel. "Carmesa" is valued for its very delicate taste. Radishes are a great, fresh snack you can add to salads, sandwiches and cottage cheese.
Radish is an undemanding and easily cultivated plant and the use of seed tapes will facilitate our garden chores even further. You do not need to worry that plants will grow too densely, nor thin the seedlings, because the seeds have been placed on the tapes in optimal spacings. Place the seed tapes in the soil from beginning of March until end of May, or in August. Distribute tapes with radish seeds in the soil in rows 10 - 20 cm apart. Tapes made of fully biodegradable material will decompose and will not affect the crops nor the environment.
Each package contains 7 m of seed tape with red "Carmesa" radish seeds. The package information contains growing instructions and the sow-by date.
