"Corazon F1" tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) is a variety intended for cultivation in the field and under covers. It bears large fruit of the ox-heart-type that weigh 180-200 g. They take on an original shape of a ribbed pear and delight with excellent taste. They are perfectly fitted for direct, raw consumption. Complete resistance to verticilium wilt also belongs to the advantages of this plant. Tomato is a vegetable of high dietary and gustatory value. Its berries contain large amounts of vitamins C, B1 and B2, as well as potassium, phosphorus and calcium. Lycopene is the most valuable substance that tomatoes contain, as it has strong anti-cancer effects. Consumption of tomatoes decreases the risk of arteriosclerosis and supports functioning of the circulatory system.
Seeds of the "Corazon F1" tomato are sown from March to May in warm rooms. Seedlings need to be transplanted to the permanent site in the second half of May or at the beginning of June in 60 x 50 cm spacings. Due to the size of the fruit and strong growth of this variety it needs appropriate supports. Fruit would be harvest-ready from July to September. Slightly acidic, permeable, preferably humous and moderately moist soil on a sunny site constitute perfect conditions for tomato cultures. These plants need regular fertilizing, preferably with biohumus or enriching the soil with compost.
One package contains 0.1 g of the "Corazon F1"tomato seeds, as well as the sow-by date and growing instructions.
