Tomato "Perkoz F1" (Solanum lycopersicum) is a variety recommended for medium early cultivation in greenhouses or in the open field. This highly productive, vigorous, branching plant produces fruit early. One of the large advantages of the "Perkoz F1" cultivar lays in the fact, that it develops fruit even when there is little light. The evenly coloured fruit are bright red, round, slightly flattenend and sometimes delicately rippled. The fruit contain 3 - 4 seed cores and weigh 70 - 110 g. Their nicely coloured flesh is tender, firm and tastes great. Tomatoes are fitted for direct, raw consumption in salads and sandwiches. You will also prepare various preserves, such as juices, purees and sauces of them. Both fresh and preserved tomatoes are a rich source of vitamin C, B1, B2, provitamin A, as well as minerals.

Seeds of the "Perkoz F1" tomato are sown in winter or early spring to pots or seeding trays. The seedlings are grown in warm and bright room. Transplant the seedlings after 6 - 8 weeks, when they have developed a few pairs of true leaves. This variety is rather resistant to temperature drops, hence you may only grow it in a greenhouse or heated tunnel. The plants need regular fertilisation and watering. Depending on the time of sow and cultivation method, the fruit mature from May to October.

Each package contains 0.1 g of "Perkoz F1" tomato seeds. A growing guide and the sow-by date have been included in the package information.
