Beetroot "Red Ball" (Beta vulgaris) is the leader among beetroot cultivars grown both for fresh market and processing. Its large, round roots contain plenty of juice, are evenly coloured and rich in vitamins (particularly vitamin C and all B vitamins), as well as calcium, iron, kalium, phosphorus and magnesium.
Extremely productive beetroot "Red Ball" is recommended for cultivation for summer and autumn harvest. Roots picked at the later stage can be successfully and long stored in the winter. Seeds of the presented variety are sown into loosened, fertilized soil in spring and at the beginning of summer. You should take care of the soil quality, making sure it retains humidity and has a neutral, or slightly basic reaction. Large, dark red, high quality roots can be harvested from July to October, approximately one hundred days after the sow.
Each package contains 100 g of "Red Ball" beetroot seeds. Such a large quantity allows for an extraordinarily rich harvest! A growing guide and the sow-by date were printed on the back side of the package.
