Blue-Eyed Grass is a perennial plant, which grows up to 60 centimetres in height. Growing in a raised form, this plant develops clusters of sword-shaped leaves that sometimes take a shape of a fan. During its flowering period, which spans from the spring to the summer, the stems produce many star-shaped flowers in a wide range of colours, including blue, yellow, pinkish-purple, white, and, rarely, pink. Blue-Eyed Grass is an appealing plant, which is suitable for rockeries, planters and perennial beds.

Growing: for sowing, choose a sunny or semi-shaded position. The plants require fertile medium moist calcareous permeable soils. This perennial is frost-resistant and does not require to be covered for the winter. The plants flower from May to July.
