The Burning Bush, also known as the Gas Plant, is a perennial plant that grows up to 80 centimetres in height. Its flowers are white or pink and assume a form of magnificent clusters with an abundant peak and highly aromatic bunches. The flowering period of the Burning Bush spans over three months; it lasts from May to July. This variety is often grown in flower beds, gardens or parks.
Growing: the plants flower from May to July. The seeds germinate unevenly in 30 to 40 days at 18°C. Plant out into pots (10 to 12 centimetres in diameter), where the plants should grow throughout the summer. The seedling require shade in moist conditions. Plant out into a permanent position in 40x50cm spacings in September. This variety requires dry calcareous soils; it does not tolerate transplanting.
