A selection of perennial cornlower varieties (Centaurea) allows you to create a flowery meadow at the front of your house at a low cost. The selection offered in our store contains seeds of the most beautiful varieties that are easy in cultivation, reach different heights (between 40 and 100 cm) and take on different bloom colours. Plants with classic, intensely blue blooms, but also pink and yellow flowers, can be grown from this mix.

Seed can be sown in early spring under covers or directly to the ground. These plants feel like at home in full sun, in permeable, light and rather dry soil. They can winter in the ground and bloom repeatedly for years (from June until September). Cornflower mix of perennial, resistant and reliable varieties give you an opportunity to introduce some controlled chaos or rejuvenate a naturalistic garden. Slender cornflowers stems that have only produced their frst buds should be cut and placed into vases. They will look great dried in pot pouris and other dried plant arrangements.
