This jar, manufactured of thick and smooth glass is exceptionally durable and easy to clean. It is therefore reusable. It has been permitted for food contact. It is equipped with a solid glass lid with a washer. It is attached to the body with a metal clamp lock that presses the lid tightly to the jar. That is why the contents of the jar are sealed air tightly. Humidity and air do not get into the jar and your preserves stay fresh and retain their nutritional value for a long time.
