Jerusalem Sage is a perennial variety, which grows around 100 centimetres in height. Its raised shoots are densely covered with hair, while the eye-catching bright yellow flowers make gorgeous round inflorescences. This plant reflowers after the shoots with the eye-catching flowers have been cut. Jerusalem Sage is recommended to be grown in high perennial beds; it is often used as a cut flower in making dried bouquets.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover from April to May. The seeds germinate unevenly, generally in 20 to 30 days. Prick the seedlings out into pallet planters. Plant out into a permanent position in 40-50cm spacings from August to September.
