Marigold ‘Mr. Majestic’ is an attractive marigold variety which produces very distinctive flowers. These are mohogany-brown with several wide golden-yellow stripes. The centre of its inflorescences is home to charming gold tubular flowers. Marigold ‘Mr. Majestic’ is a rampant plant that grows relatively slowly, up to 25 centimetres in height, with heavily branched shoots. It is very often grown in flower beds or containers, which is the main recommendation as to where to grow this outstanding variety.

Growing: sow the seeds in containers or covered pallet planters in April, or directly into the soil in early May. The seeds germinate in 7 to 14 days at 18oC. Plant out into a permanent position in 20x30cm spacings in the second half of May. This variety grows well in any type of soil in sunny or semi-shaded positions.
