Early napa cabbage 'Manoko F1' for cultivation under covers and outdoors is an outstanding hybrid cultivar intended for early field, tunnel and greenhouse cultures. Compact habit of the plants allows for dense planting and even higher yield. Cylindrical heads of the 'Manoko F1' napa cabbage are of the highest quality - compact, large, consisting of nicely coloured, dark green, firm and delicious leaves. This variety, offered in our store, stands out with a short vegetation period (ca. 55 days from planting seedlings to harvest) and even ripening. Resistance to producing flowering stalks in spring cultures belongs to its advantages, too.

Napa cabbage (Brassica rapa) came to Europe from the Far East. Still less popular than white cabbage, it gains in popularity thanks to its milder taste and more universal use. It may be eaten raw, is digestible, rich in provitamin A, B vitamins and vitamin C, as well as minerals. It does not cause flatulence and tastes great in salads.

Choose a warm, sunny site with humous, moist soil with slightly acidic to neutral reaction for growing this particular napa cabbage cultivar. 'Manako F1' napa cabbage may be stored short-term.
